Transition Tulsa and the Founder's District, which consists of Brady Heights, Country Club Gardens, Crosbie Heights, and Owen Park (these neighborhoods are all just north of downtown) hosted a bike and car tour which was held November 3. The tour focused on points of historical and visual interest in the Founder's District; several presentations by residents were included on the tour. Seventy to eighty people turned up with their bikes and all had a good time on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon.

Movie Night
Transition Tulsa Movie Night Celebration
Saturday, January 14, 2012 We gathered to celebrate our official status as a Transition group. The evening included two films - The Power of Community and The Economics of Happiness. Both are highly recommended. We also enjoyed a fabulous potluck of delicious, homemade food. Discussion of the films and our thoughts about future endeavors wrapped up the evening. |
